Gold farming is probably one of the more profitable activities a player can participate in. This is especially true in the early stages of a character’s career. To do this, a player will want to get a good deal on the Auction House. This is especially true if a player does not want to spend all of their time working through quests or grinding out mats to make money. By flying around, Tenzer suffered. While farming gold, he managed to make a good amount of gold.
Here are some of the top gold farming spots in Azeroth:
Northwestern Sholazar Basin. The local Gas Clouds can be found in this area. Most of the creatures in this area drop items that can be collected for use as stockades and sold at the Auction House. In addition, they drop motes of shadow which can be used for grinding. There are many creatures in the area, but the most valuable are the Water Elementals. This drop, among other things, motes of water. Scribes can obtain a Primal Shadow after splitting a Shadow Adder’s head.
Winterspring. The Lake of Kel’Theril in this area is loaded with marine Life. This area can be glimpsed in the Horde and Alliance starting areas on their respective starting paths. Here, the circulation of the Darkness creatures is fierce and deadly. Although the creatures drop little motes of shadow, the ones that drop precious blue-ish gems are of great value.
Western Plaguelands. The Plaguebats of this area drop money and rune cloth. They can be seen on the death knight maps. This area, like the rest of WoW, is crawling with creatures that want to kill you. This area can best be entered from the Compatibility Inn. Once inside, park your character against the north wall of the dungeon. The mobs here will easily be taken down since they are 60+ elites.
Eastern Plaguelands. The Plaguebats of this area drops money and motes of shadow. They can be seen on the death knight maps. This area best be entered from the Compatibility Inn. Once inside, park your character against the north wall of the dungeon. The mobs here are all Tricksters. The great thing about the mobs in this area is that they are comprised of two specialized classes, which adds to their strengths. First of all, the Plaguebats are birds and bats. Secondly, the Plaguebats are considered holy because of their addiction to disease. Basically, in every aspect, the Death Knights of the Eastern Plaguelands must be holy to defeat them. They have a long list of prayers that they perform for the player that fries them down.
Peripherals. The Quartermaster is found on the hill in the center of the complex. The beastmaster is at the dead hill, which is direct to the east of it. Look on the road straight ahead of you, and you will see a dragon in flight. Look out for the huge scythe-wielding scythe-crafter.
These are the first two beasts to be dealt with successfully. Now, the important thing is that you must get in your inventory and upon using various effective strategies.
