Credit: Crystal Dynamics Three and a half years ago, developers Crystal Dynamics announced a new Tomb Raider game, and it looks like its full reveal will take place this week. None other than The Game Awards organizer Geoff Keighley announced the upcoming release immediately after a similar announcement appeared on Fortnite's TGA partner island. The next Tomb Raider was officially confirmed in April 2022. The project is positioned as a single-player, story-driven adventure, continuing the story of the "confident and multifaceted" Lara Croft. Valve changed its policy, and the developers were forced to change the project's name—it's now known as Team Fortress 2 Classified. As a reminder, Team Fortress 2 Classic has been in development since 2014. The mod was formally released in the summer of 2020, but was finally released on Steam five years later. The release was originally expected before the end of 2025, but Valve intervened.
