Take-Two Addressed Rumors Of A Physical Version Of Grand Theft Auto VI Being Delayed Until 2027

In January, a rumor circulated online that Rockstar and Take-Two were planning to delay the physical release of Grand Theft Auto VI to 2027 to avoid leaks and spoilers. However, as Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick stated during his latest investor earnings call, the new Grand Theft Auto will be released on physical media alongside the digital version on November 19, 2026.
"We're looking forward to a breakout fiscal year for Take-Two and the entire entertainment industry, led by Grand Theft Auto VI, which launches on November 19th," Zelnick assured in a press release.
