In 2020, a prototype of the never-released Nintendo PlayStation gaming console sold for $360,000. Now, a gamepad for the device has sold for $35,000 at Heritage Auctions. That's a staggering amount for an item that looks like a Super Nintendo controller but has Sony and PlayStation logos on the body. The device is designed using the familiar Super Nintendo controller body, but features the signature Sony PlayStation lettering in dark gray on the front and the same color Sony PlayStation Controller lettering on the back.
