Credit: IO Interactive Developers from the Danish studio IO Interactive (Hitman series) announced the forced postponement of the release of their ambitious spy action game 007 First Light about a young James Bond. As a reminder, 007 First Light was fully unveiled in June and was slated for a 2026 release. During the September State of Play special, the exact release date was revealed: March 27. Court documents show that the lawsuit was closed, permanently ending the proceedings, with no possibility of reopening. As a reminder, in July, Sony filed a lawsuit against Tencent, accusing Light of Motiram (developed by Tencent-owned studio Polaris Quest) of shamelessly copying Horizon Zero Dawn, from the design of its creatures and protagonist to its promotional materials.
