Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards Receive GDDR7 Memory From Micron

Credit: Wikipedia Micron has become the third supplier of GDDR7 memory chips for GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards. Previously, only Samsung and SK Hynix supplied memory chips for these accelerators. The Korean portal Quasar Zone published detailed images of the printed circuit board of the Galax RTX 5060 graphics card, which for the first time in the history of the 50-series (Blackwell) were found to feature chips with the Micron logo instead of the usual modules from Samsung or SK Hynix. The discovered chips belong to the MT68A512M32DF family. According to Micron's official catalog, these are GDDR7 modules with a capacity of 2 GB (16 Gbit) each. Development of the game will be taken over by one of the series' new directors, Jean Guesdon. He recently took over as creative director of Vantage Studios, which is now responsible for Assassin's Creed. In total, Hawking worked at Ubisoft for nearly 20 years (from 2001 to 2010 and from 2015 to 2026).
