Developers from GSC Game World released the first patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl this year. The update fixed some bugs, such as a memory leak in one of the locations. GSC "cured" crashes and freezes during shader compilation, "plugged" a memory leak at the Rostok plant, solved the problem of disappearing saves on Xbox, and fixed a bug with interface animations that caused the application to crash. In addition, users should no longer experience performance degradation when shooting/aiming on saves with a lot of time played.
