Robot Entertainment has announced a cooperative action game with strategic elements, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap. The game will be released in the first half of 2025 on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC (on Steam and Epic Games Store).
Like past games, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap will offer to defend the Rift from hordes of continuously advancing orcs, using the abilities of his hero and his comrades, as well as cunning traps.
Each of the four battle mages has their own weapons, skills, traps and character. Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap includes co-op for four (a first in the history of the series), although you can play alone – the difficulty will adjust to the number of participants.
You’ll play as new Battlemages who adapt to different playstyles with unique weapons, abilities, traps, and personality traits. Random elements such as buffs and debuffs, weather, time of day and the levels themselves are all designed to make each match unique.
Release of Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is expected in early 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X and S.
