Ubisoft Tells About Stealth Mechanics And Innovations In “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”: New Gameplay
The developers of Assassin's Creed Shadows shared details about the stealth mechanics in the game, which were seriously reworked compared to previous parts of the series. Ubisoft also published several short gameplay videos.
According to the creators of Shadows, stealth in a number of key areas has been reworked. For example, the eagle guide has been abandoned. The "Observation" mechanic has appeared to mark enemies and highlight caches, collectibles and quest objectives.
Among Naoe's capabilities, the developers highlight:
the option to hide in the shadows (for the first time in the series);
extremely quiet (and rather slow) movement while crouching;
