At the spring Future Games Show, a trailer for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster was presented, comparing the original and the updated version. Characters, weapons and animations have become more detailed, and the environment is darker and more lively. The remaster promises to update "all cutscenes, textures, character models and weapons", support for 4K, 144 fps on PC, ultra-wide monitors and user modifications, as well as cooperative multiplayer. System Shock 2 takes place in 2114 on the Von Braun starship captured by monsters and the artificial intelligence SHODAN. Chaosmonger Studios has announced Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior, a Metroidvania/side-scrolling action adventure and the first official video game from Canadian heavy metal band Voivod.  Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior takes place in a world of nuclear apocalypse and mechanical horrors, inspired by the band's dystopian and sci-fi universe. Players will take on the role of a warrior who has literally lost his head due to constant mutations. Guided by his own disembodied mind, the hero must restore the fragments of his consciousness and escape from this nightmare. Users will explore a dark world, destroy cybernetic monsters and intergalactic warlords, and fight epic bosses from the band's album covers, all accompanied by a soundtrack from Voivod.
