The 2017 military shooter Call of Duty: WWII from Activision and Sledgehammer Games had barely made it onto the Game Pass subscription list before the game was urgently taken offline. As reported by the official Call of Duty Updates microblog, Activision has disabled multiplayer in the PC version of Call of Duty: WWII from the Microsoft Store while it “investigates reports of an issue.” The exploits in question are RCE exploits — remote code execution vulnerabilities that allow attackers to control the victim's system.
