‘No Man’s Sky’ Turns 10 Years Old: Even 1% Of Game’s Planets Not Explored

The ambitious space sandbox game No Man's Sky, from the British developer Hello Games, is celebrating 10 years since its original release. Studio head Sean Murray addressed players to mark the anniversary.
"I'm incredibly happy to be working with my team on a game I love for one of the most supportive communities in video games. If you're reading this, it means you've shown us your kindness... Big or small, it helps Hello Games do what it does. And for that, I'm truly grateful."
Disappointed by the release of the highly anticipated new game (the developers hadn't skimped on promises), gamers subsequently witnessed a true redemption story. The developers weren't sitting idle, however, and were constantly releasing major updates—a total of 40.
