Following the first patch, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl immediately received a second one. It is focused on fixing bugs in six missions. For the most part, the fixes for the story missions listed below are related to errors caused by the player completing tasks in a non-standard order or odd NPC spawns. GSC Game World Studio announced the first patch after the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. Developers from GSC Game World have released a launch trailer showing the iconic locations of the Exclusion Zone, intense shootouts, battles with mutants and the main characters. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 takes place 10 years after Call of Pripyat. Players in the role of a lone stalker Skif will have to pave the way through the Zone to find the "heart of Chernobyl" and determine their fate.
