Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco have shown 20 minutes of gameplay from The Blood of Dawnwalker. The RPG preview with developer commentary has been published on YouTube.
Let us remind you that the events of The Blood of Dawnwalker will unfold in a forgotten corner of the Carpathian Mountains in the 14th century. Players will play the role of the half-vampire Cohen, who needs to save his family from the clutches of the vampire Brencis in 30 days and nights. According to the developers, the world of The Blood of Dawnwalker is completely open from the very beginning – you can storm Brencis’s fortress at any time, but without proper preparation, the likelihood of success is extremely low.
The Blood of Dawnwalker demo lasted 20 minutes and included a mission to eliminate one of Brencis’s confidants. They showed off the combat system, vampire skills, and dialogue with a choice of lines.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is expected to be released in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The studio behind the game is Rebel Wolves, founded by former CD Projekt RED employees. The title is being led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director of The Witcher 3, and Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, who worked on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
