Dying Light: The Beast Announced

Dying Light: The Beast, a story-driven spin-off with an open world and controllable vehicles, was announced at the Opening Night Live 2024 presentation. The project page has already appeared on Steam.

The new game will be told from the perspective of Kyle Crane, the protagonist of the original Dying Light. After spending 13 years locked up, he miraculously escaped from captivity and found himself in an unfamiliar world. After gaining freedom, the hero will have to “use the survival skills he learned during his years in captivity to save even more people.” Dying Light: The Beast will send gamers to the Castor Woods, a former paradise for tourists, now abandoned and teeming with zombies. You can explore new locations using parkour skills or an SUV.

Dying Light: The Beast is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will not be released on older consoles. Dying Light 2 Season Pass owners will get it for free.
