Dead Cells Creators Shows Off 15 minutes of Windblown Single-Player Game

Motion Twin Studio has released another gameplay recording of its new project, the roguelike Windblown. This time, we get to follow the adventures of a jumping warrior for fifteen minutes.

Windblown players will take on the role of warrior-jumpers, defenders of the Ark village floating around the deadly Vortex. Alone or in a company of up to three people, fighters will have to challenge the guardians and emissaries of the Vortex.

The published 17-minute video, according to the authors, includes 15 minutes of single-player gameplay of Windblown from the closed alpha testing that began in February. The player quickly moves across airborne islands, mastering new techniques by absorbing the memories of fallen warriors, and dealing with increasingly powerful enemies (including a boss) until he becomes overconfident.

Windblown is set to be released on Steam Early Access this year, and we’re promised some good news soon.
