The ideas of Heroes of Might and Magic continue to appear in various games. In Silence of the Siren, the authors will try to explore a slightly different setting.
Recently, the project Silence of the Siren was launched in Steam Early Access. The game reminds some of the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise.
The creators of Silence of the Siren position the game as a sci-fi strategy game that combines exploration and battlefield combat.
Silence of the Siren takes place in the remote Siren star system, home of the Primals and birthplace of the galactic alliance. Players must explore what remains of its planets, gather resources and ancient artifacts, build cities, build an army, and upgrade bases to defeat their opponents in turn-based battles.
The early version features three of the five playable races – Fossorians, Children of the Source and Sovereign Fleet – a full story campaign for the former, a Skirmish mode with nine maps, an orbital world layer and all the core mechanics and features including building, day/night cycle and hot seat multiplayer. In total, there are over 30 hours of content.
