Although the official release of the Until Dawn remake was scheduled for October 4, some gamers got access to the game earlier. One of them not only managed to record a full playthrough, but also discovered a completely new ending with a seed for a sequel.
In the original Until Dawn, Josh’s story ended ambiguously at best, while the remake ends the character’s arc in a more hopeful way. As for Sam, the extended ending shows her several years after the game’s conclusion in a Los Angeles apartment. The girl still hasn’t recovered from what happened and suffers from hallucinations.
In the scene shown by crawlplays, Sam wakes up to the sound of his alarm clock and finds a bleeding wound on his hand, followed by an ominous voice calling out to him. Fans believe that the new episodes may hint at a sequel.
The Until Dawn remake will be released on October 4th on PC and PlayStation 5. The game’s system requirements can be found on site.
