GSC Game World Studio announced the first patch after the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The first post-release patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on PC and Xbox during this week (that is, between November 25 and December 1).

The upcoming update will bring with it several popular fixes and improvements:
- eliminate crashes caused by errors in the process of memory allocation and other problems;
- fix story quests, freeing them from bugs that prevent them from passing;
- correct prices for weapons with installed upgrades and NPC behavior during emissions;
- add missing facial animations, return lost NPCs to their place, eliminate visual bugs (like heads torn off the body or clothes getting stuck);
- improve the quality and stability of visual effects;
- correct the display of tasks during dialogues, errors in texts and add missing hints for interactions.

In future patches, the studio promised to fix bugs with the A-Life system, as well as deal with the dead zone of analog sticks on the gamepad. There is no word about optimization yet. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available on PC and Xbox Series, as well as on Game Pass.
