The release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta has suddenly popped up on the Playstation Store – August 28, 2025. Along with this, a new trailer has appeared, in which you can see the updated visual style of the remake, detailed locations and close-ups of familiar characters.
The video is nearly two minutes long and showcases the bosses that players will encounter throughout the adventure. The trailer also hints at the return of the Snake vs. Monkey minigame (a crossover with the Ape Escape series).
MGS 3 and its remake take place in the jungles of the Soviet Union during the Cold War, where operative Snake must free a local scientist and destroy an experimental superweapon.
This leak also supports recent rumors of a State of Play event, which is said to be taking place next Friday, February 14. Metal Gear Solid Delta will be released on August 28 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
