The medieval role-playing action Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from the Czech Warhorse Studios seemed difficult to many users at the time of release, but very soon the game will become even more difficult. We are talking about the hardcore mode.
The studio announced plans for a hardcore mode back in January, and initially planned a release by mid-April. On Monday, Warhorse confirmed that the new mode will be available next week – from April 14 to 20. Subsequently, it became known that the supplement will be released on April 15.
“This is not just a jump in complexity, but a new style of play. Your position is not displayed on the map, there is no fast travel, and the compass is useless. You will have to orient yourself, relying only on sight and local gossip,” the authors warned.
Hardcore mode in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is described as “ruthless” and “unforgiving.” In it, players will be able to activate at least three out of ten negative modifiers, which significantly complicate the passage of the game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released on February 4 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and reached GOG on March 28.
