The Cypriot outsourcing studio Obelisk urgently announced its first independent game — the psychological survival horror Displacement. A gameplay trailer was presented along with the project.
The events of Displacement take place at a polar station, whose personnel have become victims of a mysterious madness.
Players will take on the role of a psychologist who finds himself at a polar station, where the staff is faced with inexplicable madness. Gamers will be asked to solve the mystery of the station’s collapse and face a choice: to preserve humanity or plunge into chaos, taking on the form of a monster.
Displacement promises a fully immersive gameplay, free from distracting HUD interface elements. The developers emphasize a high level of interaction with the environment, including the ability to throw enemies off ledges, and also offer players an arsenal of 20 types of melee weapons with unique brutal finishers.

They promise a mix of the atmosphere of BioShock and the brutality of Condemned, psychological horror of a “new level”, a brutal melee combat system with 20 types of weapons, unique bosses and a release in 2026 on PC (Steam).
