Developers from 3DClouds studio announced the release date of the arcade racing game Formula Legends.
Formula Legends is a journey through the decades of motorsport, but with an emphasis on spectacular arcade mechanics. Inspired by the atmosphere of 60s racing, the game combines nostalgic aesthetics with lively gameplay and modern visuals. The short trailer shows dynamic races, changing weather conditions and an impressive fleet of 16 cars, each of which symbolizes a certain era – from the start in the 60s to the cars of the 21st century. At release, Formula Legends will offer 14 tracks based on real racing locations. Players will not only have to drive at maximum speed, but also take into account weather conditions – from rain to sandstorms, plan pit stops, monitor tire wear and fuel. The “slipstream” mechanic will give you a chance to skillfully overtake rivals, and managing electronics and battery systems will add strategic depth.
As revealed by the trailer above, Formula Legends will go on sale on September 18 for PC (Steam, EGS, GOG), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch for $20.
