The PS Store page lists the PS5 release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl as November 20. GSC soon confirmed the leak and released an official trailer with the announcement.

Thus, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will reach PS5 exactly 12 months after its release on other platforms. The game debuted on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass on November 20, 2024.

Gamers can already pre-order three different editions: standard, extended with an additional quest and equipment, and Ultimate, which includes a season pass with future additions. And for pre-ordering any of the editions, you get the following bonuses: a unique Veteran weapon, a Tourist armor set, additional dialogues and ambient music in the camp, as well as an exclusive backpack patch. The game page also reminds that it will have improvements for PlayStation 5 Pro and support for DualSense controller features. The latter includes haptic vibration and adaptive triggers.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 takes place 10 years after Call of Pripyat. Players, as a lone stalker named Skif, must navigate the Zone to find the “heart of Chernobyl” and determine their destiny.
