Recently, the page of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator was noticed in the PlayStation Store. Against this background, Saber Interactive came forward with an announcement of a competing game.
The developers showed Road Kings and talked about the features of the simulator.
According to Saber, Road Kings is a next-generation truck simulator. Unlike the MudRunner series, the upcoming project focuses exclusively on driving on roads. The announcement trailer is attached. Players will have to go from a novice driver to a real professional in private transportation: delivering cargo, managing orders, trailers and routes, fighting cunning opponents and unpredictable weather.
They promise a long-distance adventure in the southern US (Georgia-Florida border), a 10-hour campaign and an “infinite” number of tasks, asynchronous multiplayer with crossplay and a global leaderboard.
Road Kings is expected to release in 2026 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Closed beta testing will take place in the coming months.
