The Coalition studio boasted about the success of Gears of War: Reloaded, a remaster of the cult shooter from 2006. In just three days, more than 1 million people played the new game, for which the developers have already thanked everyone involved.
It is worth noting that this figure does not correspond to pure sales, since Gears of War: Reloaded is available not only for purchase in digital stores, but also as part of a Game Pass (Ultimate, PC) subscription.
“Ending the console wars, one larva at a time. Thank you for a million players,” the official Gears of War microblog thanked the community, hinting at the historical nature of Reloaded.

Recall that Gears of War: Reloaded was the debut release on Sony consoles in the entire 19-year history of the franchise. Until recently, games in the series were released only on Xbox and PC consoles.
Gears of War: Reloaded was the first game in the series to be released on PlayStation consoles.
