Publisher Kepler Interactive and Ironwood Studio have unveiled the Whispers in the Woods add-on for Pacific Drive. The announcement trailer was published on YouTube.
Pacific Drive is an unusual first-person survival simulator, in which the only faithful companion of the main character is a car. Each foray here is a challenging car ride with mandatory resource collection. The station wagon needs to be improved by installing additional protective panels and equipment on it. The announced add-on will take place in a new mysterious part of the Olympic Exclusion Zone, which was also present in the main game. This time, you will need to move to dense forests, full of strange symbols and unsolved secrets. The passage of the new adventure will take from 8 to 12 hours, while the player will meet new characters and be able to collect exclusive parts for the car.
The trailer for Whispers in the Woods clearly hints that the main character is constantly being watched by someone.
Players called the video creepy and joked that it “completely ruins the feeling of coziness and safety” that they were trying to create with the decorations.
