New Rumors About “Resident Evil Zero” Remake Emerged

The MP1st portal, citing its own sources, shared details of one of two rumored remakes in the renowned Resident Evil horror series from Japanese publisher and developer Capcom.

One of the new storylines involves the conductor on the train at the very beginning of the game. It’s expected that this character will play a more important role than in the original. For example, in one scene, he asks Rebecca Chambers to help stop the train from running away, but then betrays her and locks her in with a horde of zombies before escaping.

We’ll see the conductor again later in the game. Rebecca discovers him along with another character who seems to be aware of what’s going on and plays a significant role in the plot.

Insider AestheticGamer (Dusk Golem) previously claimed that Capcom was developing two remakes—Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Zero. The former is supposedly due out in early 2027, while the latter is scheduled for 2028.
