Capcom announced a Resident Evil Showcase stream for January 16th. Resident Evil Requiem will be the main focus.
The presentation will last 12 minutes and will include new details and a gameplay demo of Resident Evil Requiem. Given the show’s length, don’t expect any other games to appear.
Despite its brief duration, the video has intrigued fans eagerly awaiting the release of Resident Evil Requiem. Fans are hoping for the announcement of a public demo and a VR mode for the game.
The teaser accompanying the announcement featured a montage of Resident Evil Requiem gameplay footage from the upcoming stream, including series veteran Leon Kennedy fending off a chainsaw attack with his knife.
The plot follows FBI technical analyst Grace Ashcroft and Leon as they investigate a series of deaths caused by an unknown disease. Their intertwined destinies will lead them to the hidden secret of the Raccoon City incident.
The presentation promises to showcase new gameplay and reveal details about the game. Its release is scheduled for February 27, 2026.
