Nearly five years will pass between the releases of Resident Evil Village and the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. Rumor has it that fans of the Capcom franchise won’t have to wait that long for Resident Evil 10.
Insider AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem), citing his sources, reported that the gap between Resident Evil Requiem (Resident Evil 9) and Resident Evil 10 will be shorter than between previous numbered releases.
According to him, this year Capcom will limit itself to just the ninth installment in the series; no further games in the franchise are expected.
An updated version of Code: Veronica is planned for release next year. According to an insider, the developers plan to release a reimagining of Resident Evil 0 in 2028, and Resident Evil 10 can be expected a year later, in 2029.

Requiem was originally developed under the working title Resident Evil Apocalypse, and its launch was repeatedly delayed until the decision was made to move the release date from 2023 to 2026. This suggests that the schedule for Resident Evil 10 may also be subject to change.
