In March, AyaNeo suspended sales of the Next 2. The reason: memory and storage prices skyrocketed after the Chinese New Year, making production of the device unprofitable. The company is now resuming orders and plans to begin international shipments by the end of July.
During the latest product presentation, the company’s CEO demonstrated the Windows-based portable device and confirmed that international shipments are planned to begin by the end of July. Previously, the console was only available in Asian markets.
AyaNeo’s CEO also showed a slide stating that due to the continued rise in memory costs, Next 2 restocks are temporarily unavailable. The company says it will provide further information once the situation improves.


In March, the company announced that memory prices had increased after the Chinese New Year, bringing the total cost of the product to nearly double the original price. Existing customers were told production would continue, but new sales were suspended.
The base version costs $2,999 and comes with a Ryzen AI Max 385, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. The version with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and 64 GB of RAM costs $3,699. The flagship configuration—with the same processor but 128 GB of unified memory and a 2 TB SSD—costs $5,299.
