
Multi-Frame Generation From Nvidia DLSS 4 May Be Added To Older GeForce RTX Graphics Cards
One of the exclusive features of the GeForce RTX 50 series of video cards introduced in January is support for multi-frame generation or Multi Frame Generation. The technology will become available with the release of DLSS 4 and will greatly increase the number of fps in games.
Since its debut in 2018, Nvidia's deep learning scaling (DLSS) technology has evolved to its fourth version. Its latest iteration has moved to a transformer-type AI model, which has enabled a number of new features, including Multi Frame Generation (MFG), which creates up to three additional frames for every traditionally rendered frame to increase FPS.
