Not long ago, CD Projekt Red officially announced another upcoming patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which this time was definitely supposed to be the last one. The release date was announced for June 26, however, the studio decided to postpone the release of the next update. This was officially reported by representatives of CD Projekt RED.
As it became known, Cyberpunk 2077 will not receive update 2.3 on the appointed day. The studio emphasized that it was going to release the patch on June 26, but realized that the team “needed a little more time.” A new release date was not announced.
According to CDPR, the 2.3 update will be comparable in size and content to the major 2.2 patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which was released in December 2024 and was created in collaboration with Virtuos Studio.
In version 2.2, they reworked the photo mode, added more than 100 new elements of personalization for V in the character editor, implemented a random appearance generation function, allowed Johnny to be taken as a travel companion, and much more.
Patch 2.2 was created by Virtuos Studios. Apparently, update 2.3 was also assigned to them, since the main CDPR team is busy developing The Witcher 4 and the sequel Cyberpunk 2077.
