Publisher Kalypso Media and developers from the German Claymore Game Studios announced the release of a free demo version of their tactical strategy Commandos: Origins.
The action of the new game takes place during the Second World War, and players will be able to participate in campaigns in Africa and the Arctic. On the maps, users will need to explore possible tactical moves that will allow them to defeat their opponents – just like in the classic games of the franchise. However, as part of the demo, fans will only have access to one mission, where two heroes in the person of Jack O’Hara and James Blackwood must sabotage the Germans on the Channel Islands. The fighters need to deal with the enemy’s radar using stealth, strategic decisions and an interactive environment with destructibility.
Commandos: Origins is still expected to release in 2024 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass.
