The Mp1st portal drew attention to the website of an artist who worked at Aspyr until 2021, and noticed concept art for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (remake) there.
The illustration shows a reimagined location on Kashyyyk, the Wookiee homeworld, where the protagonist of KoTOR finds himself in the midst of a struggle between the natives and the colonial slave traders.
The concept art shows that the remake team aimed to make the location more detailed and the vegetation on it denser.
What exactly the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from Aspyr Media would look like, players will never know.
Knights of the Old Republic Remake is currently being developed by Saber Interactive, which confirmed its “alive and well” status last year.
