Tara Gaming Limited has released the debut trailer for The Age of Bhaarat. The dark fantasy action RPG is being developed by industry veteran Noredin Abboud, who previously worked on Tom Clancyʼs Ghost Recon Wildlands, along with actor Amitabh Bachchan and writer Amish Tripathi.
The Age of Bhaarat takes place in an alternate version of Ancient India, which has been devastated by the Rakshasas, cruel demons from ancient myths. Players, as a mighty Guardian of the Forest, must protect their homeland from monsters, uncover the dark secrets of the Rakshasas Empire, master traditional and mythical weapons, and master mysterious forest powers.
The Age of Bhaarat trailer that accompanied the announcement showcases pre-alpha gameplay, cinematic production design, lush landscapes, mythical beasts, and, according to the developers, hints at a complex narrative.
The release will take place on consoles and PC. The game can be played alone or in co-op.
