Quantic Dream announced that combined sales of the interactive adventure Detroit: Become Human on PC and PS4 have exceeded 15 million copies. As a reminder, the 10 million milestone was surpassed in October 2024.

The surge in interest in the game was likely driven by a 90% discount during the Steam Winter Sale. According to Alinea Analytics, Detroit: Become Human sold 0.99 million copies on Valve’s platform from December 21st to January 5th.

According to Quantic Dream CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere, the new achievement “highlights the emotional resonance and lasting cultural impact of Detroit: Become Human.”

“This achievement belongs to the community that believed in the game’s story and carried it forward. Everyone at the studio is deeply grateful for the fans’ continued support,” said Quantic Dream President David Cage.

Quantic Dream is currently working on a free-to-play strategy MOBA called Spellcasters Chronicles. The ambitious Star Wars Eclipse, announced in December 2021, is also in the works.
