Horror “Cronos: The New Dawn” by Silent Hill 2 Remake Devs Gets Gameplay Trailer

The developers of the Silent Hill 2 remake from the Polish studio Bloober Team, through the IGN portal, presented the first gameplay trailer for their adventure survival horror Cronos: The New Dawn.

The trailer is gameplay, so you can see more than just the local landscapes. The main character in a futuristic spacesuit must fight opponents from a third-person perspective. Various weapons are available for this, but the monsters in Cronos will not be the same. Some bloodthirsty monsters look like mad and disfigured people, while others stretch out many tentacles and have long lost their human appearance.

The players’ reaction to the video was positive. Many felt that Cronos combines the aesthetics and gameplay of Silent Hill and Dead Space. The developers are also supported in their desire to release big-budget survival horror games.

Cronos: The New Dawn is being developed for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game was unveiled last fall and is expected to be released sometime in 2025.
