PQube has released a new trailer for Dual Effect’s survival horror game Tormented Souls 2, which will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2025.
The main character of Tormented Souls 2 is Carolina Walker, familiar from the first part, who after the events in the Wildberger clinic tries to return to normal life with her younger sister Anna. However, soon the younger relative of the protagonist is seized by a terrible illness with terrible symptoms: coughing up blood, loss of consciousness and blackening of the eyes. Trying to help her sister, Carolina goes to Puerto Miller – a South American town cut off from the outside world, where “indescribable horrors” are happening. The heroine will have to explore the corridors of majestic, but infinitely ominous monasteries (apparently, they “lit up” in the trailer), fight monsters and solve puzzles.
The developers promise that Tormented Souls 2 will retain the atmosphere of classic survival horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Players will find dark locations, tense moments and unexpected plot twists.
