Microsoft is Preparing Beta for “Gears of War: Reloaded”

Announced in early May, the new remaster of the action-adventure Gears of War from Epic Games is coming out in three months, but it looks like we won’t have to wait that long to try the game out.

As noted by Reddit user teza789, the SteamDB database since yesterday, May 22, has listed a project called PenPL, which is actually an unannounced beta version of the Gears of War re-release.

Microsoft has not yet announced anything about the upcoming beta, and the release of the remaster of the cult Gears of War is scheduled for August 26. It can be assumed that the developers are going to test the unique multiplayer part in action, as well as cross-platform functions before the official premiere.

Gears of War: Reloaded will be released on August 26 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass. Owners of the digital edition of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will get the new version for free
