Polish analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski of Noble Securities has revealed when to expect future CD Projekt Red projects, including the much-rumored new story expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

According to Khzhanovsky, the unannounced third expansion for The Witcher 3, which was discussed this summer by the hosts of the Polish podcast Rock i Borys, will be released in May 2026, and the release itself will coincide with the game’s 11th anniversary.

The report states that the third major expansion for Wild Hunt will be released in May 2026, selling 11 million copies and serving as part of the marketing push for The Witcher 4. Fool’s Theory, the studio responsible for the remake of the first “Witcher,” is working on the project. The DLC will cost $30.

As for the Witcher 1 Remake, which was announced back in 2022, it is currently not in active development. Fool’s Theory’s team has been transferred to support The Witcher 4, which is scheduled for release in late 2027, leading the analyst to predict that the release of “The Witcher” remake will not take place before 2028.

The same report states that Cyberpunk 2 will be delayed until Q4 2030, and will supposedly release on the tenth anniversary of the original Cyberpunk 2077 (December 10, 2020), while the mysterious Hadar (CD Projekt RED’s first fully original IP) is expected in 2032.

Additionally, Scopely has an unknown game in development based on one of CD Projekt’s franchises, and CD Projekt itself is also producing two secret games that no one knows anything about yet.
