
The remaster of the cult strategy Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War has an official release date. Let us remind you that the Definitive Edition will receive all add-ons, improved graphics and mod support.
As it became known, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition will go on sale on August 14 for Steam and GOG at a price of $30. Owners of the original Dawn of War in the Anniversary Edition are promised a permanent 30 percent discount.
The announcement was accompanied by an updated version of the cinematic introduction to Dawn of War. Viewers appreciated the improved visuals, but complained about the removal of the sergeant’s “epic” battle cry.
The Definitive Edition will offer the game familiar to fans, optimized for modern hardware and with all the add-ons included. Some serious bugs from the original release will be fixed, but there will be no new content.
