Razer has released the $219.99 Raiju V3 Pro wireless controller for PlayStation 5 and PC. It’s an alternative to Sony’s $199.99 DualSense Edge, with which it shares many features, such as adjustable trigger throws, replaceable back paddles, swappable thumbstick caps, and a hard carrying case.

The key feature of the new controller is its drift-resistant TMR analog sticks. They offer improved responsiveness and durability compared to conventional analog sticks. The company claims this solution will allow gamers to play without annoying stick “grip,” even after extended use.

The controller also features Razer HyperTriggers: switches that can be switched from analog to digital mode using a slider on the back. This is convenient, for example, for shooters where instant response is essential: the trigger travel can be shortened for faster firing. Additionally, the controller features removable back paddles and a protective bumper, and the buttons are equipped with mechanical switches, similar to those found in Razer mice, providing a crisper and more responsive click. Various device settings can be customized through the proprietary app. Unlike the DualSense, the new controller does not feature Razer’s proprietary vibration motors or adjustable triggers: Razer prioritizes performance and customization over immersion.

The Razer Raiju V3 Pro is available for pre-order on the official Razer website. Speaking to The Verge, a company representative noted that the controller’s release is delayed. Furthermore, it is not yet available in the US.
