Last week, the tactical shooter Ready or Not from Irish developer Void Interactive finally hit consoles and almost immediately became a hit there, despite the scandal that erupted on PC.

Studio head Julio Rodriguez reported on LinkedIn that console versions sold over a million copies in four days. This was a record for the studio and the project itself. Moreover, according to the developers, the sales rate on consoles was ten times higher than on Steam. Ready or Not offers both a single-player mode and a co-op mode, where you can manage your squad or act in a team. And although it is still far from the figures of Rainbow Six: Siege, the new game already demonstrates serious potential – primarily due to deep mechanics and a flexible command system.

Ready or Not was fully released on December 13, 2023 on Steam after nearly two years in Early Access. Thanks to the success of the console versions, the game has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
