Insider Tom Henderson and Insider Gaming Senior Editor Mike Straw discussed the release date and price of Rockstar Games’ ambitious crime action game GTA VI on the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast.
According to Henderson, Rockstar is “reasonably confident” in the new GTA VI release date and will not delay the game again. Former studio animator Mike York previously reached the same conclusion.
Furthermore, Henderson and Stroh believe the base version of GTA VI will cost $80, while premium bundles (excluding the game’s Collector’s Edition) could reach $130.
Currently, the only $80 game on the market is the arcade racing game Mario Kart World for Nintendo Switch 2.
GTA VI is currently only confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. It promises “the largest and most realistic world” in the series’ history.
