The remaster of the fantasy action RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Engel, which was poorly received by players upon release due to numerous technical issues, has received an important patch 2.0. This update, according to its developers, addresses previously identified causes of crashes.
One of the main areas of work was fixing bugs in the original game’s legacy code, which was the cause of numerous crashes and delays in update releases. The patch addresses critical issues that caused performance drops, freezes, and crashes. Character animation, visual effects, and the lighting system have been improved, making gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
Special attention was paid to sound: the team fixed bugs affecting voiceovers and sound effects. Mouse responsiveness, game loading speeds, and game resumptions after pauses have been improved, and text display has been updated, improving the interface’s usability.
As a reminder, Sacred 2 Remaster was released on November 11th on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. The project launched on Valve’s platform with a 34% rating, but by the time of publication, the review situation had improved: the rating had risen to 51%.
