Last night, Swedish studio Liquid Swords, founded by Christopher Sundberg, co-founder of Avalanche Studios, announced a new game, Samson, and released the first trailer:
Samson: A Tyndalston Story is an action-adventure game with noir elements, built around duty, consequences, and survival in one of the most ruthless cities imaginable.
The story follows the protagonist, Samson McCray, who returns to his hometown of Tyndalston to settle accounts with the past and save his family.
Time is working against Samson. The debt grows daily (even with interest), and side jobs consume action points (a limited supply). Every decision is a compromise. There will be no second chances.
According to the creators, cruelty, desperation, and resourcefulness are Samson’s last remaining tools. The combat in Samson: A Tyndalston Story is down-to-earth, intense, and dangerous. Violence is a means, not a spectacle.
Samson: A Tyndalston Story is currently only available for PC. It already has Steam and EGS pages.
