Just a few days before the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a batch of screenshots from the final version of the long-awaited shooter leaked online. This time, the leak was not the fault of the developers or inattentive journalists – it was the result of the actions of one player from Germany. The gamer managed to get a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 for Xbox Series X a week before the release, and now he is actively sharing screenshots and gameplay clips.
Following the leak, the first reviews of the game appeared – mostly about its technical condition. Jan ek and user OrfeasDourvas from Reddit report that there is no stable 60 fps on Xbox Series X, but the situation is partially saved by VRR. According to Jan ek, a hefty (16 GB) patch was already available for the game last Friday. At the same time, the blogger admits that GSC Game World may prepare another update for the release.
You can experience the Chernobyl exclusion zone in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on PC and Xbox on November 20. The game will be available for free for Game Pass subscribers.
