The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World have released a large patch for the shooter, version 1.2, which makes changes to all aspects of the game, including balance, quests, the A-Life 2.0 system and locations. Update 1.2 is now out on PC and Xbox consoles. The patch includes over 1,700 fixes and improvements in all aspects of the game, including balance, locations, quests, performance, and the A-Life 2.0 life simulation system. Following a recent leak, Konami has officially confirmed the release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The announcement took place during the company's State of Play event in February 2025, where the company also showed off a brand new trailer for the game. Along with the start of pre-orders, Konami also declassified the minimum and recommended system requirements for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Kojima Productions has announced a conference at SXSW 2025. The studio will hold a screening of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which is being developed in collaboration with PlayStation, in Austin, Texas. As it became known, the developers of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will take part in the upcoming American festival SXSW 2025, which will be held in the Texas city of Austin from March 7 to 15.  The special event dedicated to the game within SXSW 2025 is called PlayStation Presents Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Special Panel. Rumors have been circulating online for some time that Sony is preparing a God of War with Egyptian gods. Perhaps the adventures will unfold in a different place. Now, insider Tom Henderson has decided to share what he heard from sources - he was told that the next God of War will take players to Greece, i.e. the events will not take place in Egypt. The story will allegedly center on young Kratos and, perhaps, will explore the hero's relationship with his father. Henderson added that he could not verify this information himself yet. The insider also allowed for the release of re-releases of the games of the original trilogy, rumors about which have been circulating in recent years.
