Camel 101 announced that it has found a publisher for its new project. Now, the Lovecraftian horror Beneath will be handled by Wired Productions, which released, in particular, Deliver Us The Moon and The Falconeer. The Beneath team timed this announcement to coincide with a new trailer showing the gameplay.
The game will tell the story of an experienced diver named Noah Quinn, who finds himself “trapped in the depths of the ocean, where ancient evil reigns.” The protagonist will have to cope with the approaching madness and uncover a conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.
A short video demonstrates the key gameplay mechanics: the hero manages to walk through several dark locations, shoot at nightmarish creatures, and also watch typical Lovecraftian horrors.
Along with the trailer, the creators of Beneath released a gameplay video lasting almost seven minutes, which allows you to better understand the internal structure of the game. The video captures shootouts, the process of solving simple puzzles with the search for the necessary codes and the same walks along dark corridors. At the end of the video, the main character is grabbed by a huge tentacle and dragged away in an unknown direction.
In addition, the developers of Beneath published new game art and updated its logo.
Beneath to be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
