The creators of Skyblivion, a Bethesda Creation Engine mod that puts Oblivion on the Skyrim rails, have released a nearly 20-minute video showing the completion of several Fingers of the Mountain sidequests.
The new Skyblivion demo is almost 20 minutes long and includes a look at the current build. The developers showed a walkthrough of the quests “Fingers of the Mountain” (in two parts) and “The Deadly Field”. Both quests can be picked up in Chorrol and completed near the city. The plot of “Fingers of the Mountain” revolves around the book of the same name, and “The Deadly Field” offers to help farmers cope with the attack of goblins.
In “Fingers of the Mountain” the developers supported first the Mages Guild, and then Irana, and in “Deadly Field” they demonstrated the outcomes of the quest depending on the fate of the farm’s defenders.
Skyblivion doesn’t just bring Oblivion to Skyrim, it also greatly improves the original game with reworked mechanics and new content based on Bethesda’s concepts. Skyblivion is set to release in 2025.
